DIY Wedding Gift Basket

Since we’re in the height of wedding season we thought it would be perfect to share a thoughtful newlywed gift idea. We’ve rounded up several items to create a chic DIY wedding gift basket suited for couples that love to entertain in style. A gift basket may sound intimidating to create but we make the process easy with our 3 tips to do it yourself.

1) Pick Items They Will Use
For couples that love to entertain- who doesn’t like to relax with a glass of wine on a Friday night? Therefore we included a corkscrew, coasters and stainless steel wine goblets because they are hosting essentials.

2) Incorporate Items That Look Nice Together
There should be a similar colour palette and various shapes and sizes of items in the basket. We chose a mix of rustic textures and neutral colours.

3) Customize it to the Couple
Lastly, customize the gift basket to the couple’s taste. You can swap out cheese knives for the couple’s favourite bottle of wine, or add in a certificate to cooking classes for a personal touch. This is your chance to be creative!

Regardless of what you decide to include, a DIY gift basket is the perfect way to show the couple how well you know them and wish them a happy start to their marriage.
