Spring has sprung and that means it’s time for warm weather and yummy cocktails. Most of us are missing drinks on patios and rooftop bars, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy Spring all the same. Here are 3 delicious spring cocktails you can make right at home.

1) Strawberry Basil Smash

  • Sparkling water (chilled)
  • Extra sliced strawberries and basil for garnish (optional)

In a cocktail shaker, combine ⅔ of a cup of still water with your sugar. Stir until dissolved. Add your strawberries, lemon juice, and basil. Use an immersion blender or muddler to combine for about 2 minutes or until smooth. Strain and discard solids. Skim off any foam and discard.

In a cocktail glass, add your strawberry mixture, 1-2 oz of the desired alcohol. Top with a splash of sparkling water. Garnish with sliced strawberries and basil leaves.
