8 Cute Doormats for Summer 2021

Now that we’re in the swing of summer, it’s time for a summer doormat! Seasonal doormats are a great way to swap out your home’s exterior look while keeping things fresh and in style. Here are a few of our favourites for the summer months as well as a few doormat styling tips to have your home looking better than ever.

Go Bold!
Even if your home is filled with neutral tones, your doormat can be a statement piece. Pick something fun for summer that makes you happy every time you use it. Summer birds, bright flowers and even quirky shaped doormats are perfect for the summer.

Dress it Up
Your doormat doesn’t have to be the only statement piece on your porch. Try decorating your front porch for summer. Plants, doormats, and door decor are all easy ways to dress up your home’s entry. Wondering where to start? Check out this summer front porch styling guide

Layer, Layer, Layer
If you really want to make your doormat pop, try layering. Add a neutral doormat under your main doormat for a fun look with more coverage. If your doormat is bright and bold try a neutral like jute, or add a pop of colour to a staple door mat.

Keep it Clean
Doormats can easily get dirty in the summer with all the grass, sand and dirt from outside. Give your door mat a good cleaning once a week to keep it looking fresh, and swap out mats that get too dirty or worn over time. The best part about having a seasonal doormat is they look fresher longer!
