If you want a relaxing, feminine bedroom without feeling over the top, try a floral garden inspired look. We’ve put together a mood board to get you started as well as some tips and tricks for bringing the fresh feeling of the garden in your bedroom.

Colour Palette
In this floral garden inspired style, the bed is the main focal point. Bright bold florals can bring a lot of colour and life into your space so use those colours as the base of your colour palette. Pull accent colours from the leaves and blossoms of your floral bedding and then add neutral whites and beiges to complete the look. The more neutrals you have the more your other colours will pop, and the brighter the whole room will feel.

Patterns & Textures
When you have a bold duvet making a statement, it’s good to shy away from any other bold patterns. Opt for subtle textured items or low pattern designs to keep things toned down.

Decor
To keep your room feeling fresh and bright, add things like mirrors and lamps that help brighten up the space as well as fresh flowers, and greenery to bring in that garden feel. Top it off with a few abstract flora and fauna inspired items. A neutral rug with accents that match your colour scheme will fit nicely.

Bedding
Since your duvet is the star of the show, you’ll want to keep your sheets and throw blankets/pillows more neutral so as not to have things clash. Opt for bedding in white, off white and light accent colours that coordinate with your duvet cover.
