Father’s Day is June 20th so why not find a few ways to celebrate dad and spend quality time with him at home. Whether you’re an adult with kids of your own or want a special way for your kids to spend time with their dad here are some activities everyone will enjoy.

1) Fire Up the Grill
Most dads love any excuse they can get to fire up the grill. Pick up some nice cuts of meat, set up a feast, and let the grilling commence.

2) Take a Bike Ride
Enjoy the beautiful outdoors with a scenic bike ride. Pick a nice leisurely trail and pack a picnic for a day of fun out on the open road.

3) Go for a Hike
I
f biking isn’t your thing, hit up a local hiking trail and see where the day takes you.

4) Tackle a DIY Project - Dad’s are great for DIY projects and home improvement. Spend the weekend building something, fixing something to trying something new with Dad!

5) Plant a Garden - Want to get outdoors and enjoy the nice weather? Plant a flower or vegetable garden with Dad. It will be a great way to bond and you can enjoy the fruits of your labor all summer long.

6) Learn About Dad - He had a whole life before he was a father, so get to know a little more about what it was like. Perfect for young kids to learn about the past and learn a little about their father or grandfather.

7) Go Backyard Camping - The young and the young at heart will love a backyard camping adventure. Set up tents, make some s'mores, and tell spooky ghost stories. It will be a night to remember for years to come.

No matter how you choose to spend time with Dad this Father’s Day season, just be sure to show him how much you care. Happy Father’s Day!
